HOUSTON -- Baker Hughes has announced the commercial release of the EasyReach extended-reach CT service. The company developed the service in response to the growing number of long horizontal wells and the need to be able to service them confidently using CT. Comprised of simulation software, a lubricant specifically designed for downhole conditions and a field-proven fluid hammer tool, the service can help increase the lateral reach of CT beyond the limits of conventional CT systems.
