HOUSTON -- Dow Oil, Gas & Mining, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, has been awarded a 2014 R&D 100 Award from R&D Magazine for the DOW NEPTUNE advanced subsea flow assurance insulation system. The NEPTUNE system is based on a new, proprietary insulation material that offers uniform, high performance from the well-head to the delivery point, along with the widest installation and operating temperature range of any wet insulation system on the market.
