Berlin — Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said on Wednesday he had agreed in talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel that Ukraine’s interests should be respected in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
Ukraine is worried that it will lose out on transit revenues when the pipeline, which will transport gas from Russia to Germany, opens.
