PALM BEACH, Florida -- During Thursday’s Membership Luncheon at its 85th annual meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) named Range Resources President and CEO Jeff Ventura as its recipient of the Chief Roughneck Award for 2014. U.S. Steel Tubular Products, Inc., a subsidiary of United States Steel Corporation, is the sponsor of the prestigious annual award, which was created in 1955 to honor the lifetime achievements of independent petroleum industry leaders. Ventura is the 60th recipient of the award.
